Losing...

I'm losing the blog war! And the further behind I get, the busier our life gets. I guess this is where I invoke my four kid handicap...
Here's what's been going on. We're perfecting our waiting abilities. We waited for something to go wrong with my pregnancy, we waited for Nate to get better, we waited for medical clearance, we waited for passports, birth certificates, documents of all kinds. Now we're waiting for an invitation to get a visa. After that we'll wait for our passports to come back from the embassy, then we'll wait for our plane tickets. Then we'll wait in airports, in the immigration office of our host country's capital city, we'll wait in taxis and train stations and lines at fast food restaurants. Who knew this job had so much waiting involved...
While we're waiting we've had some great experiences. This weekend we went to Jeremy's parents' house and met our new NIECE! Her name is Madeline Ann Jones, and she's pretty much adorable. Caleb had lots of fun playing with his cousins, we carved pumpkins, told ghost stories, roasted giant marshmallows, and generally had a lot of fun. My favorite part was taking pictures (despite the complaints from those family members with shorter attention spans...).
