The Blog war.

It's on. I'm challenging myself to post something, anything, every time my lovely friend Leslie posts on her blog. We'll see how it goes.

The big kids started school a couple weeks ago. So far they are liking it, or in Matthew's case, not hating it. In Matt's defense, he somehow got signed up for Vocal Music, Spanish, and Consumer Math. Gross. Still, he's hanging in there. Kelly has Choir and home economics (they call it something different and more politically correct now, but I forgot the name). She's also in honors biology. Her math class is less than challenging since our district has implemented some backwards theory about not doing any homework, so all the kids have to finish all their work in class. Which means that the faster kids have to wait upwards of an hour while the kids who need more instruction are getting their work done. This seems goofy to me, but we're only in this district for a couple more weeks so I just told her to bring a book.

The extra kid is Matt's best friend, Jonathan. They walk to the bus stop together every morning. They are holding up the fingers for the grades they are starting, 7th and 9th. Ninth Grade!! I'm pretty sure that means I'm old.

Oh Yea! This will be fun! However I do feel like you should have a little bit of a handicap since you have 4 kids compared to my 2. This is exciting!
