#4

So here's the scoop: (in case you didn't get our newsletter this morning) On Thursday the doctors did a sonogram that showed baby #4 was on the border of 'moderate' and 'severe' anemia. Once we get to 'severe' then he will need a blood transfusion through his umbilical cord. The doctor (and us as well) expected to do a transfusion after the sonogram today, and even told the other doctors in the practice that they should plan on a transfusion this afternoon. However, #4 made a liar of her and was actually LESS anemic than last week. Which is not normal. But, since when are we normal?? So we're going back Monday for another sonogram, but this time she didn't tell me to bring an overnight bag! AND, I won a dozen cupcakes in a Valentine's dinner drawing! Pregnant girls love cupcakes! AND, our friends won a free night at the Hampton Inn but gave it to us because they are awesome! AND, the sun was shining today! Today was a good day!
