I bet you never had these kinds of problems when you moved...
The big yellow thing is the water tank that collects our water that we use for showers and washing stuff. We only drink bottled water, so don't panic. The water tank was so grungy on the inside that the walls were greenish black. So we put Matt inside to scrub the walls, and then he had to empty the whole tank by filling a bucket, going under the water, pushing the bucket up with his head, then dumping it out the side. It was a long, grueling process. At one point his foot got caught in the suction from the water pump and gave him a nice ankle hickey. He was pretty proud.
The first set of pictures is of a lizard called a Tokay who was living in our house before we got there. You have to turn your head sideways to get a good view of him, because I forgot to rotate the picture before I posted it! This breed of lizard likes to bite and hang on forever. The only way to get them to let go is to stick them under water, or so we're told. Thankfully, this guy didn't bite us. He did, however, leave a giant poo, which Kelly was nice enough to document, so you could understand how big he is. One thing you never want to hear when you're moving in somewhere is a friend saying, "I don't know WHAT kind of animal made that poo..."
The very first picture is not a moving problem, they are Kelly's Iraqi friends that she teaches with Prudance every Friday. They feed her well in exchange for her wonderful company!
