Beach Fun

Last Tuesday we took our first trip to the beach for Amy's birthday. We ate at Cafe Alberto's, a western-type restaurant with good pasta, and rode the Banana Boat around the cove. Caleb slept through the whole thing, but we're still counting it as his first trip to the beach since he came back with black sand in his ears. The swimmers had black sand EVERYWHERE because it's so fine, and the ocean was so rough that day. There was a storm moving in, so the waves were big and the weather was cool. All in all, a good day! A nice break from unpacking! The girl you don't recognize is Rina, our national partner on the island. She's doing an internship with our team for a year. She's GREAT!
