Convoluted Issues

Well, I've been alone in Singapore for 3 days now, which means it's time for the standard melancholy blog post. More of an update, really, because I'm fresh out of melancholy. In case you missed the weekly update, my antibodies are high again, meaning that my body is trying to attack the baby. We're not sure if they're really high or if the lab in which my blood was tested is not reliable. So I saw another doctor (the 7th in 3 months) on Friday and hand my blood taken. Now I'm waiting for the results, which won't be back until the end of the week. If the results of this test agree with the last ones, it's looking as though I'll have to deliver in America, because this is not a problem that's frequently seen in Asia.
The most frustrating thing is that it's not a black and white issue. There's so many people involved in the decision for us to come back to the states, and so many medical factors involved. As our team doctor put it, convoluted. But, He is in charge and we are learning to trust daily and rely less on our own plan. Thanks for remembering us through all of this! We're looking forward to seeing you all soon.

In other news, many people have asked about how to give gifts for Christmas and baby. Of course the most practical thing would be money, but we know some people prefer to give a gift. So I used my time in Singapore (with high speed internet) to make a Wish List on Target.com. It's called "Indo List" and can be accessed online or in the store. We have limited baggage space, so it would be really great if you could stick to the list as much as possible. I'll be adding more items for the kids once I find out what they want. Thanks!
