A favorite activity for people in this culture is "berjalan-jalan," which translates into "walking-walking." This phrase specifically indicates that you are walking with no purpose whatsoever, except to see your neighbors. If you have a destination in mind, it's just walking. Here are some photos from our last berjalan-jalan trip. Matt was in charge of the camera, as a way to keep him busy while I try out my language on the neighbors! I think he did a good job!
